The Senior Meals Program is located in the Springfield Resource Center on Main Street. This is our Community Building which also houses the Library and the Museum.

In operation for over 13 years, Sage Services provides hot meals for senior citizens. Sage Services and the Meals on Wheels program delivers meals to home-bound and disabled residents in Springfield, and surrounding towns. Current Manager is Wanda Cain. Meals on Wheels is a volunteer service. We may need drivers! Give us a call.

Springfield West

Florence McAlliester

680 West 6th Ave, is a project of the Springfield Housing Authority, and was built for Springfield elderly and handicapped. The 32 units were built in 1882 and the first residents moved into the units in 1983. There are 32 Units, and usually a waiting list to move in. The Springfield Housing Authority is a non-profit organization. Rent at Springfield West is 30% of the resident's adjusted income. People to contact are Lew Mathews or Dorthey Sunday.
