Springfield Schools

The accredited public educational system has approximately 350 students in a K-12 setting. A regional preschool is nearby.

The junior and senior high school 1A sports are: softball, 8-man football, volleyball, basketball, track, wrestling and baseball.

Other junior or senior high activities are: band, choir, FFA (Future Farmers of
America), Knowledge Bowl, FCCLA (Future Community and Career Leaders
Association), National Honor Society, Science Fair, and National Academic
