The Lame Reason Given for The Pinon Canyon Expansion. An Editorial by Gloria Jean LTC David Johnson uses the "War on Terror" and "Operation Iraqi Freedom" as reason why the Army needs our ranch land to train military troops. Forgive him if you can, for he knows not what the hell he is talking about. He is brainwashed by military hog wash. The "War on Terror" is a Farce. The so-called "War on Terror" was purposely designed (and orchestrated) to create an enemy that cannot be found or identified so that our government can continue to escalate wars, justify their existence, make excuses for taking away our personal freedoms, destroying the constitution, and for giving themselves more and more power to do anything they want with us, our country and our ranch land. From a Fox news story LTC David Johnson is quoted as saying: "as the war on terror continues to evolve, more unique land, like what you find in Pinon Canyon is needed for training. "What Ft. Carson and Pinon Canyon gives us, they give us that replication of the battle field that our soldiers are fighting on now in Operation Iraqi Freedom, but also in potential future conflicts," said LTC Johnson." (End quote of quote from Fox News story: http://fox21news.com/Global/story.asp?S=6090687&nav=menu126_2 I am here to tell anyone who will listen that the name given this war "Operation Iraqi Freedom" is a lame attempt to force feed the American Public with false information that this illegal war for oil, money and power (to use in protecting the State of Israel) was for the purpose of "Iraqi Freedom." What a bunch of propaganda and bull. Some time back I sent an email to a major news network criticizing them for using the lame "Operation Iraqi Freedom" and I asked them "How stupid do you think the public is?" (Very stupid is what they think.) I told them that I would not watch their news propaganda any longer because of this obvious propaganda tactic. Surprisingly they seemed to stop using that term, or at least I have not heard them use it lately. I don't know if it had anything to do with my email or not; but Fox News still uses a lot of these kinds of propaganda terms. Back to the subject of the Pinon Canyon Expansion: As long as Americans support and allow this war to escalate and as long as they believe the lie that we are fighting a war on "terrorism" against some "unknown" (but assumed to be Muslim) extremists, they will continue to "support" this idea by sending their sons and daughters to war in any number of countries, and the government will continue to take our land and destroy our food supply and our lives here on our own soil. Rancher Lon Robinson countered LTC David Johnson's statement with "it is important not to destroy America in the process of protecting it. "We want a good national defense but the ability to produce food is also part of the national defense. In World War II they kept people home in order to keep production going," said the rancher. LTC Johnson said the Army's decisions will be predicated on public discussions with ranchers and organizations against the expansion. However, he also admitted the US Army has not taken the option of eminent domain off the table. What is not discussed at these meetings is the bare naked, unpopular and brutal truth that the "War on Terrorism" is obviously a carefully orchestrated farce, and that the invasion of Iraq was illegal and that thousands of innocent civilians were slaughtered there who had nothing to do with the destruction of the World Trade center, or the demolition of building number 7, weapons of mass destruction or Osama Bin Laden. What is not discussed in these meetings is truth. They all are playing a game of "Let's pretend we believe the bullshit our government is telling us." And, Let's see if we can talk the military out of stealing our land and destroying our lives as politely as we can. Anyone speaking the brutal truth would probably get thrown out of the meetings.
