Here it is clear that the fire has totally engulfed the structure. This was the north side of the building looking south east.

This shot of a lone fireman was taken before help from Walsh and Lamar fire departments arrived. Other Firemen battled the blaze to the south of the building where other houses were close to the flames.

After it was evident that the structure could not be saved, firemen kept surrounding homes from catching fire by wetting them down. This view is from Colorado Street looking west.
