My House could use a snow plow please.
Snow drift to the east down 10th ave. is at least six feet tall.
Traffic backed up on Main Street Jan 2 at noon.

January 2, 2007 At around noon on Main street traffic was stacked up in both directions as people, mostly trucks were trying to get through and out of town. The jam was caused by a semi truck carrying mail trying to turn around. He didn't make it. Heavy equipment hooked onto the back end of the trailor and just pulled it over the ice to get in lined up with the road so that it could proceed north.
Above, volunteers help to clear the way into the drug store. Below, cars and trucks are stacked up as far as the eye can see.
So here is the problem and this is what is holding everybody up. The truck facing the camera is tow truck, and the trailor belongs to a mail truck.
The vehicle behind the Semi truck hooked on and back up and pulled the trailor sideways on the ice in line with the road going north. An icy road can be of good use sometimes. The tires simply slide sideways.
Then the Main Street Traffic begins to move, directed by local Policemen. Trucks moving means that we will soon get supplies for our local grocery store. Mail is not being delivered to residents because of the snow. It may be two weeks before we see any mail.
People watched from the Stage Coach Hotel above.
Thanks to local law enforcement, who directed traffic.
Many of the large trucks carried snow plows to unknown destinations south on highway 287. This picture was taken from in front of the drug store over mounds of snow.
