How to buy a Bus ticket in Springfield
There are six buses passing through Springfield a day but the location of the Bus Station seems to keep changing. Actually, we don't really have a bus station, as I was informed that the Crossroads Travel Plaza is a "Truck Stop, not a bus station." But you can purchase a bus ticket there, and the buses do stop here, so whatever they call it, I have to call it our bus station.
The Buses:
There are three going north, and three going south.
North to Denver arrival: - 1:05 AM, 6:05, AM and 2:55 PM.
South to Amarillo arrival: - 1:50 PM, 5:55 PM, and 10:45 PM.
The directions to the bus stop, according to the locals will be described as: "Up on the Hill." The actual address is as follows:
The Crossroads Travel Plaza
27080 U.S. Hwy 287
719-523-6977
Go south on Hwy 287 to the intersection of Hwy 160.
You can also order tickets on line or over the phone. Bus schedules and information can be found on the Internet. TMN&O Bus lines serve this southeast Colorado area.
