Traders gets delivery
Nice to know we are getting food delivered. Today, there is was bread in the store when I went..
Main Street still has lots of snow in front of businesses.
Climb the snow mountain and you might find a business open.

January 5, 2007 , Noon Have you ever kicked in an ant pile and watched the ants as they scurried around at a faster pace, calling out the army ants and the worker ants to rebuild there ant city? Well that is what Springfield reminded me of as I went out walking around today. There were two machines clearing snow on 10th avenue, making it wider, and they were clearing my alley too. I call it “my” alley because it is a dead end alley that only goes half way through the block. I didn’t expect anyone to clear it so soon. I am impressed. I would like to thank the road crews for not leaving a pile of snow on the paths we spent the entire day yesterday digging out. In addition to that, I would like to ask them if they intend remove the the mountain of snow they left on my corner. If they aren’t going to haul it away later, I might build my giant snow woman out of it. I want to do it but I don't know if I have the energy even to climb the pile. It snowed a few flakes this morning and it is a cold and cloudy day. This is a good thing, because the snow was melting too fast yesterday. I don’t want a flood or a mud slide. I picked up the Pueblo paper at Nappa and then walked to the bank. I also went to the store and they had bread today. It is now noon and all is well. Life has not returned to normal but we are working on it. The afternoon update: Then they say we might get more snow next week. We could use some more because the stuff we have is melting and my plans for giant snow woman and her castle were starting to look bleak. Click Here to see the pictures of the traffic jam.
